NOAA Commissioned Corps Officers are an integral part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Officers can be found operating one of NOAA's 19 ships or 12 aircraft to provide support to meet NOAA's missions. Duties and areas of operations can range from launching a weather balloon at the South Pole, conducting hydrographic or fishery surveys in Alaska, maintaining buoys in the tropical Pacific, flying snow surveys and into hurricanes. Announcements

The application cycle for BOTC 122 is closed. We are currently taking applications for BOTC 123, which will begin January 2014. The application deadline is August 16th to receive an interview. Interviews will be completed once a candidate's whole package is received, all interviews must be completed no later than August 30th.

BOTC 123 applicants may start the process utilizing the online NOAA Corps E- Recruit system.
